She will feed you tomatoes and radio wires.

So hockey season has started. Normally I'd be ecstatic, checking stats and (shudder) message boards, listening to games constantly (what with the no cable--not that that would necessarily help, what with the television contract for the NHL being with the fucking Outdoor Life Network, for chrissakes), etc., etc.

But the Blues are destined to suck for at least the first couple of months, at least until the (hopefully) free-spending new owner gets us some actual hockey players. So I can't bring myself to pay attention for the time being. I do hope to be proven wrong, but still...

So I'm sure you're asking "Bill, why aren't you out doing things on a Saturday night? You have money in your wallet, and a belly full of fire [not really, but that always sounds cool]." But we had a good party last night, I quit the second job, and so I spent today walking a decent amount and otherwise appreciating a weekend. I'm proud.

And I had something to post about, and for the life of me, I forgot. So instead I'm going to find a certain something to help Niki on a project, and try to learn something on the guitar.
